As SEEN ON

I am so excited to announce my web series, Dwell Well With Jess, which takes viewers to some of my favorite, tucked-away gems in Portland and across the state. The series will feature the lifestyle of a Portlander and everything that the city, and beyond, has to offer. Dwell Well With Jess is not your typical real estate series; it’s about the life that happens beyond the four walls of your home – whether that is in the great outdoors, wine country, an organic brewery, or on the coast. I'm here to help you create a life you love by helping you find a place you love to live.

The 2020 housing market has surpassed all expectations, and continues to drive the nation's economic recovery. Q3 was an epic time for Portland Real Estate, and the numbers reflect that the PDX market is as STRONG as ever! Homebuyers continue to realize they need more space, as our homes now function as a work space, school, and everything in between. First time buyers are taking advantage of the record low interest rates, and want a place to call their own. Nationally, there was a 6.5% increase in sales from Q3 last year. Inventory in Portland hit an all time low, hovering at 1.1 months with an average sales price of $451,000, increasing 5.7% from this time last year. While there have been so many changes in 2020, the Real Estate market has been the one thing that has remained constant. I think the market is going to continue to soar right into 2021. Feel free to reach out if you want additional information, or want to talk about buying or selling your house. I would love to help you Dwell Well!
People have SO many questions right now about how the current COVID-19 pandemic is going to affect the Portland real estate market. One thing is for sure; the safest place for people right now is their home! In this video, I dive into some deep data and my thoughts around what I foresee happening! You won’t want to miss this one! Wishing you health and wellness during this time!
Kate Brown recently tweeted, "As we prepare in the months ahead to get Oregon back to work, we must remember the importance of doing so in a smart, deliberate way." The Oregon Association of Realtors (OAR), and its members have taken Kate Brown's executive order very seriously. Under her order, Real Estate is considered an essential business activity, with the implementation of social distancing requirements. In addition to adhering to social distancing guidelines and CDC recommendations, most Realtors in Portland have implemented very strict showing guidelines, such as requiring the use of disposable booties and gloves, hand sanitizer, hand washing stations, masks, minimizing the number of showings at one time and per day, and "no touch" showings where potential buyers are asked not to open/close anything while in the home. We are all doing our best to keep ourselves, our clients, and our community safe! Wishing you health and wellness during this time!

In this episode of my online web series, Dwell Well With Jess, we travel to the magical winter wonderland of Mt Hood – just a stone's throw from Portland. Winter activities on the mountain are accessible to everyone, whether you are an avid winter sports addict, a novice beginner, or somewhere in between. The episode is packed with adventure and laughter, ranging from cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding, and plenty of wipe-outs. Mt Hood National Forest is beloved by Portlander's, and a highly sought after vacation destination. Hope you are all dwelling well!

In this episode, I get up close and personal by welcoming you into my home to experience a unique service specific to Environmental and Wellness testing. I worked with Design Well Studios, a local company specializing in holistic approaches to environmental testing. Design Well will be testing my home for environmental toxins, including mold, formaldehyde, electromagnetic (EMF) and radio frequencies (RF), and more. Health and well being is at the forefront of my family's lifestyle. While we can control the food and herbs we put into our bodies, the amount of exercise, yoga, and meditation we do, we can't always control our external environment. Design Well Studios is going to help us create an environment that supports the health and well being of my family so that we can all thrive. I hope this episode brings awareness to the environmental toxins that can lurk in and around our homes. As a Realtor, I want to be an advocate for my clients in helping them feel confident that the place they choose to dwell is going to keep them well.

In the second episode, we travel to the magical Columbia River Gorge – just a stone's throw from Portland. The Gorge is an outdoor mecca for exploring and adventure. In this episode, we will visit stunning waterfalls, hike and run along some of my favorite trails, and experience magnificent landscapes with sweeping views along the way. The Gorge is a place that everyone can enjoy, and it's where I go to clear my head, get grounded, and to connect with friends and nature.

In this debut episode, I visit one of my favorite wineries in the Willamette Valley, J Christopher. Voted one of the top wineries in the world for multiple years, J Christopher is best known for its Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Portland's booming wine culture is heavily influenced by its close proximity to wine country. It is an easy day trip from the city, and is a great way to experience some of the nation's best Pinot Noir.
